I’m a professional biologist by day (and sometimes by night) and an amateur crafter any other time. Born, raised and educated in the US, I moved to the UK over a decade ago and then immediately fell for a Brit. We got married. We have two beautiful boys who take my breath away.
I started this blog because I wanted to document my crafting experiences, my amateur “fieldnotes”. I love textiles, I love baking, and discovered beautiful blogs that absolutely made me want to make something. So creating my own blog about my adventures in fabric and flour seemed like a pretty nice starting place. I hope you enjoy my fieldnotes.
